To celebrate Open Access Week, and this year’s theme of building structural equity, our SVP of Product Management Tony Alves engaged Martin Jagerhorn, head of business development at ChronosHub and Shelley Allen, head of open research at Emerald Publishing for a discussion about the challenges associated with funder and government mandate compliance where payments and license requirements are concerned. The focus was on what can be done to simplify the author’s experience, including minimizing their exposure to as many of these compliance and payment tasks as possible.
