HighWire delivers new Circulation website for American Heart Association
HighWire Press Inc. is pleased to announce the newly redesigned American Heart Association’s (AHA) Circulation publication site. The site features a contemporary and responsive design which provides a consistent and adaptable reader experience across all devices.
HighWire’s project team focused on improving user experience to facilitate higher traffic, more content views, and more information dissemination. The new streamlined user navigation and consistent content placement across all web pages has increased readability and engagement across the site, and the tabbed view options and easier access to PDFs has improved exploration of new information, policy, and research results.
Heather Goodell, American Heart Association VP of Scientific Publishing said: “It was vital that the new site enabled our editorial and publishing teams to have much more control over the administration. Additionally, we needed to ensure that the site would deliver an enhanced reading experience for mobile users and that AHA’s branding and identity needs could also be met.”
Jennifer Chang, HighWire VP Account Management said: “We want to ensure that the new Circulation site would meet the vision of AHA. The self-administration features within our JCore Open Platform enables the Heart editorial team to have more control over the website, to flexibly build information pages, and to make changes much more quickly.”
Dan Filby, CEO, HighWire added: “We are delighted with the new AHA Circulation site. This project shows that the quality of our people, technology, and processes, as well as our close collaboration with our client has enabled HighWire to meet and exceed the key objectives of Circulation and the AHA.”
